About Frankie
Meet Sir Franklin Lovesapat AKA Frankie!
He's taken a long while to settle in to his foster home, he is a very shy and timid little guy that easily won over with food.
Frankie gets very depressed after travelling in a crate or even being confined to smaller spaces it took 48 hrs for him to even try food when he arrived here. Once Frankie realises he is safe, he starts to settle a little but it is a long and slow process.
Frankie will find hiding places in your home you didn't know existed and then have you think he doesn't exist... until dinner time.
We've had Frankie here for around 3 weeks or so now and he's finally interacting with our whole household. And when I say interacting, I mean he is demanding pats and love from the humans… DEMANDING 🤣
You can't forget Frankie is here now, he meows for his dinner, he mows for his pats, and he meows for sometimes just a chat. But don't get me wrong, he isn't one of those annoying meowie cats - his conversations are quite comical. In fact, a lot of things about Frankie are quite comical he's hilarious.
His love for you is quite forward. He pushes his love on you, rubbing his little face roughly over you and presenting his tummy for rubs. Being picked up is quite terrifying - he isn't comfortable in your arms.
His play time is something to be marvelled at... he can find a tiny speck of dirt and run around pouncing at it elegantly and almost dancing with it ignoring all else around him.
Frankie has been coexisting with our 3 cats here in his foster home. He can be in a space with them fine, happy to walk by them most times but then out of the blue seemingly unprovoked he will whack them on the head and run. I haven't yet worked out if he thinks this is play initiation or he's asserting himself. Frankie is still quite young and will learn, but if your cat is reactive then Frankie may not be your man. My cats don't argue back… they look at him silly and walk away. We have 2 dogs that are welcome in the house and Frankie is very intrigued by them, but his brave hasn't reached dog level yet so I haven't seen him "interact" with the dogs - he just looks from afar.
We have kids in our house that at times seem overwhelming to him but he has settled with them over time. Frankie, once settled, has a lot of love to give and plenty of entertainment to offer, he will make his furever home happier than they ever imagined. If you think you have the home and the patience for this little guy please apply.
Could he be your new bestie? Meet him to find out!
