About Kermit
Kermit is a spunky little man who is seeking a compassionate owner who understands cat body language. This tripod cannot wait to curl up on your couch, zoom around your house and bring you all the toys he can find.
As a highly sensitive feline tripod, Kermit has his limits when it comes to stimulation. Over-petting can lead to overstimulation, which manifests in signs such as tail flicking, dilated pupils, and flattened ears.
To ensure Kermit's well-being, adopters should encourage playtime with toys rather than hands as this provides physical exercise and mental stimulation while preventing over-excitement and consider play therapy to channel Kermit's energy. His favourite toys at the moment include: a ball of tin foil, wand toys, a cardboard box, a flopping fish and a little dumpling!
Older teens who respect Kermit's boundaries and give him space when needed would be ideal companions and Kermit might get along with another cat but he would need a confident, social, and tolerant feline friend to keep him company. Kermit may do well with a calm, tolerant, older dog who will give Kermit space, provided a slow introduction is completed when first adopted.
Kermit's extravagant personality deserves understanding and patience. With the right care, his adorable personality will shine and he'll thrive in his new home! 🐾
