About Mork
Hi! I’m Mork and I’m looking for a new family to call my own.
Size: Small
Weight: 6kg
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR MORK
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM
https://forms.gle/YTwXmGkyajXuY2xp6
NOTE: You are unable to meet Mork until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Mork in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.
What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A friendly doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• I arrived at the shelter as a stray so my history is unknown. Due to this, my interaction with cats, pocket pets or fowl that are free roaming in the house or yard is completely unknown. There can be no guarantee that I will be ok living with them. My history with children is also unknown.
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• A family who promise to keep me well groomed and brush me regularly so I’m always looking and feeling my best
• Lots of love and attention
• I have lots of energy and still active so an active family is a must for me.
• A submissive dog is the best housemate for me. But, I LOVE LOVE LOVE people, so I'm just as happy being an only dog getting all of your love and attention for myself
• A family that will love and care for me during my twilight years
• TRAINING TRAINING TRAINING. It's ESSENTIAL I receive training in all aspects of my life so I can be the best dog I can be when I'm older.
• SOCIALISATION is as important for me.Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help me
Things that I don’t want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I know my basic doggie commands
• Social butterfly
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Well mannered
• Love to snooze on the couch
• Exuberant & full of beans
• I love toys especially squeaky toys
Where I need to improve / Training required
• I have had some basic training. I will need further training
• I love my food & toys so using them as a positive reward should make my training easier.
