About Opal
Meet Opal, a delightful 3.5-year-old Japanese Spitz cross Jack Russell Terrier who is the epitome of a people-lover. With her affectionate nature, Opal thrives on human companionship and finds her happiest moments curled up in your lap or nestled comfortably in your arms.
Though small in size, Opal has a big heart and enjoys the company of other dogs. She requires secure fencing to keep her safe as she’s very curious and loves to engage with her surroundings. Opal is looking for a home where she can live indoors and be an integral part of the family, sharing in the daily activities and comfort of home life.
A daily walk would be perfect for Opal, giving her the opportunity to explore and satisfy her adventurous spirit. She is incredibly sweet and utterly adorable, making her a wonderful addition to any loving household looking for a loyal and endearing companion. If you want a little shadow who’s always ready for cuddles and affection, Opal is the dog for you!

Adoption details
We are not open to walk ins, appointments by booking only. All households members must be present before we can adopt an animal out.
As our goal is to adopt animals out from the shelter into loving homes as fast as possible, multiple bookings may be made for the same animal.
We are not able to hold any animals for any reason.
As such, there is a possibility that the animal you may have found a forever home before your appointment. If this is the case we will inform you by phone call as soon as possible.

Tues: 12.30pm-3:30pm
Wed: 12.30pm-3:30pm
Thurs: 12.30pm-5:00pm
Fri: 12.30pm-3:30pm
Sat: Open Fortnightly
April 6th- 9am-12pm
April 20th- 9am-12pm
Sun: CLOSED
For serious enquires we are able to accommodate to outside our normal appointment hours. Please call us to arrange a time.

Apologies if we do not reply to your enquiry, we are a busy Shelter and get pulled away from the office often.
