Benny is a bright boy who wants to be your bestest friend because you are his! This boys main focus in life is to get your attention and love 💙

HOUSEHOLD - Benny would suit a variety of households. He absolutely thrives when he receives attention from his handlers which means he would benefit being involved in his new family's life as much as possible.

ON GOING TRAINING - Benny has shown he knows how to sit and will do so happily most times even without food. This clever boy is in the process of learning shake.

Benny seems to know he isn’t meant to jump on you but at times will jump around you or land on you, this will need some further training to show him this isn’t how you gain attention.

ON LEASH - While Benny doesn’t pull on the leash, he tends to start and stop due to wanting to check in with his handler. A continued walking routine would help this boy learn how to walk correctly on a leash.

PLAY/TOYS - Benny has shown some interest in toys but prefers handler interaction.

OTHER DOGS - Benny has met a variety of canines, some playful, others not and he handled them all very well. He seeks more attention from the handler, but will play with another other dog if they would like to.

CATS/OTHER ANIMALS - when walking through our cattery, Benny did not really focus on the cats at all until directed at which he gave them a simple sniff before continuing on wanting to sniff around or get attention from his handler. We believe Benny could be housed with a resident feline with slow, supervised introductions.

CARE/GROOMING - Benny can struggle to sit still but loves any form of attention. Due to his short staffy coat, he will need weekly brushes and a bath when needed.

EXERCISE - Benny would benefit from a walk daily and interaction games with the handler.

NUTRITION - Benny is a non fussy eater who has no specific dietary requirements.

Breed - American Staffy X - 2 Years Old

Benny is located at our Charmhaven Shelter and his $500 adoption fee covers - microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea and worming treatments.
