Flame & Sooty

Sooty and Flame have had a tumultuous time of late.
Firstly they, and two others, were literally dumped at one of our foster carers. These boys were driven from South Australia shoved into a dog crate with no floor so they had to try and stand or sit between the wire, and no food or water.
They had only been at their foster home for days when the Bayindeen fires broke out so they then had to be evacuated to a relief centre and then again to Ballarat as the relief centre was under threat. Two of the boys have been adopted but these two gorgeous boys are still looking for someone to love and care for them.
Flame is around 4yo and we believe is Sootys dad. Sooty is around 1yo and looks to his dad for security and confidence, however is now becoming more confident and independent. They are a bonded pair and must go together.
Both the boys have started to flourish in foster care and are learning to play with toys and play chasings. They are both lap cats and adore affection. Flame is a grazer whereas Sooty inhales his food, so Flame needs to be monitored to ensure he’s getting enough to eat as Sooty finishes Flames food.
They are great with children, don’t mind dog friendly cats, but Flame is not good with other cats.
