About China
Hey there, pals! My name's China, and I'm here to tell you a little something about myself. Woof! I'm a young American Staffy cross bursting with joy and love for life. With the biggest smiles and the waggiest bum, I'm always ready to greet my friends, whether they walk on two legs or four.
I've got a real soft spot for other dogs. Playing with them brings me pure happiness. Right now, I'm hanging out with a bunch of adorable kittens while I wait for my forever home. Yep, you heard that right-I'm a dog who's cool with cats!
Kids are awesome, aren't they? Well, as long as they're cool with a bouncy, happy girl like me, I'm totally down to live with them. I've got loads of energy to match theirs, and I promise to bring endless fun and cuddles to the mix.
Oh, and did I mention I'm super smart? Yep, I'm highly trainable and always eager to learn new tricks. Whether it's fetching a ball, mastering agility courses, or just showing off how cute I am, I'm up for any challenge.
So, if you're looking for a furry friend who's overflowing with love, happiness, and a whole lot of tail wags, look no further. I'm China, and I can't wait to meet you! Bark soon!
To book a meet and greet with China please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
