About Hunter
This is Hunter and he's looking for his forever home!
Hunter is looking for a household who has experience with Staghounds / Greyhounds, is understanding of the breed and will be prepared to train him starting from the beginning.
Hunter is best suited to a household with adults and teenagers as he's very excitable and bouncy. The shelter team actually think Hunter is part time Giraffe. Hunter has a whole lot of energy so he would really love a home with a very large backyard or acreage to explore and run around in!
Hunter needs all your love and attention to himself so he needs to be the only pet in his new home!

You no longer need to submit an online application to adopt a dog, puppy, cat, kitten or small animal.
Walk-ins are welcome at our Burwood East and Peninsula locations:
Burwood: Opening hours: 10am – 4pm
Peninsula: Opening hours: 10am – 4pm
For our Warrnambool and Wangaratta locations, please call the RSPCA shelters to book an appointment to meet our available animals:
