About Onyx
Onyx is a sleek and well-mannered cat with a cautious yet affectionate nature. With his very unique and husky meow he will keep his forever family smiling as he makes biscuits on his favourite woolen blanket.
Onyx isn't a clingy cat, he will enjoy affection if it is on offer but isn't one to beg for pats and is happy sitting by you, on the floor in his plush bed or cubby. He thrives in calmer environments and would be best suited to a fairly quiet household without other, more boisterous animals, or children under 10yrs.
Onyx has shown to be very tolerant of other felines sleeping next to them and unphased by their presence, however he isn't highly interactive with them and could live in a home with or without another kitty friend.
Like most adult cats, he does take some time to feel comfortable in new environments and with new people, but give him a few weeks and he will start to venture out making his quirky little vocalisations. Onyx arrived into our care through no fault of his own as his owner unfortunately passed away ☹️. He will need a patient and understanding family to let him find his feet as the world must be quite confusing for him now.
If you're after a gentle, hesitant lovebug, please reach out to book a meet with sweet Onyx...
Note: This cat is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another cat....
