Introducing Jetflash, this gentleman steals everyones hearts with his handsome blonde locks and sweet nature. He has a playful and cheeky personality, loves wrestling with his foster brother and is very loyal. You will know he is relaxed when he is so deep in sleep he falls of the couch and you won’t have to worry about losing him, just follow the trail of drool and fur!

Jetflash hasn’t had the most fair start to his life, his Shepherd personality traits have been misunderstood for naughty behaviours and needs someone who has experience with the breed (or willing to learn) to teach him acceptable doggy manners inside the home. He will thrive with a family who can continue implementing boundaries and meet both his physical and mental needs. This giant teddy bear will take initiative to check the kitchen bench for an afternoon snack, and enjoys testing the furniture for durability. He has worked hard to stop these “hobbies” of his, but still needs reminding from time to time. He will benefit from continuing structure in the home and using the crate when unsupervised.

Jetflash has a diagnosis of mild-moderate hip dysplasia, his family will commit to ongoing monthly or 6 monthly pentosan injections (depending how he copes in between each dose) and ideally appropriate joint supplements to prevent progression. Management involves keeping up his fitness, ensuring he maintains a healthy lean weight and monitoring for symptoms as he gets older. This diagnosis is currently not holding him back and he is a happy and vibrant boy.

He has so much love to give and deserves all of the love in the world in return.
