About Milah
Hey there, lovely humans! My name is Milah, and I'm here to tell you a little bit about myself as I embark on this new chapter of my life. You see, I've decided to take a break from my glamorous singing career to pursue something a bit more down-to-earth - being your best furry friend!
At a sprightly one year and two months young, I'm a stunning blue Staffy cross with a heart as big as my smile. If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I absolutely adore other dogs. Seriously, I'm the life of the paw-ty when it comes to making new furry friends. Dog-friendly? Heck yes, that's my middle name!
Now, when it comes to living the indoor life, I'm a total pro. I'm house-trained and oh-so-good inside. But you know what would make my tail wag even more? A cozy couch to snuggle on or a fluffy pillow to share - let's make lounging together our favorite pastime, shall we?
Kids? Oh, they're my jam! While I'm cool with kiddos aged six and older, I'd love to have a meet-and-greet first just to make sure we're a perfect match. Trust me, I'm all about spreading the love, but a girl's gotta have her standards!
Basic training? Nailed it! I can sit, shake, beg, and lay down like a pro. But here's the thing - I'm hungry for more knowledge! Teaching me new tricks and skills? Count me in! I'm ready to be the star pupil of your training sessions.
So, if you're looking for a sweet, sociable, and oh-so-smart companion to join your family, look no further. I'm Milah, and I'm ready to wag my way into your heart! Let's make beautiful memories together, one paw at a time.
To book a meet and greet with Milah please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
