About Molly
Hi! I'm Molly and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR Molly
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM
https://forms.gle/K7xyW6se9E866G279
NOTE: You are unable to meet Molly until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Molly in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.
What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A gentle doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• A family who promise to keep me well groomed and brush me regularly so I'm always looking and feeling my best
• Lots of love and attention
• A quiet & mature family/household - this is what I am used too
• I can be shy at first so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time
• Doggy daycare and group socialisation classes would be highly beneficial for me.
• SOCIALISATION is as important for me as it appears I've led a very sheltered life and can be a bit nervous/shy in new situations. Since being at the shelter I'm becoming much braver though. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help boost my confidence
• A doggie companion is a MUST to keep me company when my family isn't home or a family that is home all the time. I suffer from separation anxiety which results in barking and possible destructive behaviours.
• Being a young puppy I will adapt & learn easily, how I mature will only be a reflection of you & my upbringing
• I have previously lived with a cat.
• I have never met children, but being a young playful pup I should be okay living with kids, I may just need a little extra time to be comfortable around them.
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I can sit, stay and come
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• I appear housetrained
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Well mannered
• Love to snooze on the couch
• I walk well on lead for never being on one before, but having daily walks should help me improve my lead skills
• Exuberant & full of beans
• I love toys especially my ball, playing fetch and tug rope
