About Gil & Coraline
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don't want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Gil & Coraline sounds like the cats for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue's life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Meet Gil and Coraline, two incredibly friendly feline pals ready to bring boundless love and warmth to your family! These dynamic duo are social butterflies who thrive on affection and companionship, making them perfect additions to a loving family.
Gil, the gentle giant, is a soft and affectionate cat that revels in cuddles. He also doubles as a large, cozy pillow for his smaller companion, Coraline. With a playful personality, he enjoys watching birds and chasing toys, and he might even try for a cheeky nibble from your plate when you're not looking.
On the other hand, there's Coraline, the soft-spoken lass who prefers quiet companionship. She has a knack for hunting random objects around the house and has perfected the art of quiet stealth. She loves being close to you, often sneaking into a room just to be in your presence.
Both Gil and Coraline adore cuddling up together in a cozy sleeping spot and will often follow the sun from window to window throughout the day. They also share a mutual obsession with hair ties, managing to find every single one no matter how well you hide them.
Their adorable quirks only add to their charm. After using the litter box, Gil throws an impromptu celebration by doing a victory lap around the entire house. Coraline exhibits her cute habit of making biscuits on pillows and pretend-burying imaginary food. Both cats share a love for being brushed, playing with toys, and hunting each other around the house.
Something cute about them? Gil's charmingly cross-eyed gaze and Coraline's determination to be a part of whatever you're doing, whether that's trying to help type on your keyboard or sneaking into the bedroom for extra cuddle sessions.
Gil and Coraline would be happiest in a calm household, with or without kids, but a home without other pets would be best. They're fully litter-trained and currently share two litter trays.
These two are inseparable best friends. We would love to find them a loving home where they can continue their life together. If you're willing to open your heart and home to two loving and social companions, Gil and Coraline would love to meet you!

Medical notes
Both have had some food intolerance issues with wet food in the past, but they thrive on a diet of dry kibble and occasional meat treats.
As is typical of the Tonkinese breed Coraline has had some teeth removed in past, so it's a great idea to have regular check-ups with your vet to keep those chompers in tip-top shape.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
Home2Home currently operates a pay-what-you-can system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose the adoption fee amount that is most suitable for their situation. The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Following adoption - change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on listing) will be provided.
