About Boof
Re-Introducing Boof!
Boof originally came in to us as an unmicrochipped stray from a housing commission area. He was called a "community dog" as everyone in the area has fed him at one stage or another. Unfortunately no one came forward to claim him.
In September last year Boof was transferred to Pound To Pampered for rehoming. Due to family illness, this rescue is struggling to stay afloat, so we are helping them in trying to find Boof a new, loving home.
Boof's foster carer has said;
"Boof absolutely loves being around people.
He's a people pleaser and try’s his hardest to be the best boy on the block.
Boof is naturally loyal and protective of his humans and absolutely loves car rides. Boof will need 6ft fences as he can be springy. He hasn't gotten over our 5ft fences but we want to ensure he's secure in his new home."
Boof has been in foster care with several other dogs & he has taken on the role of peace keeper among his pack.
Boof is a Mastiff x Staffy born approx 1st August 2023.
While with us Boof has showed himself to be a gorgeous, friendly, affectionate & playful young man.
Boof tested well with other dogs(both large & small) and he is quite playful with them. We believe Boof would be suitable to live with other dogs, or he can be a spoilt "only child". If you have a friendly dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Boof appeared to be scared of cats, so we are recommending a home without cats. He is currently untested with pocket pets.
Boof has shown no signs of separation anxiety or food aggression.
He still has so much to learn about the world and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family. Boof will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Boof's adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing and lifetime registration.
Boof is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.
To enquire more or to meet Boof, please call 0419 908 315 or email poundtopampered@gmail.com and speak to one of their friendly staff.
We at CCACF are just advertising him on behalf of Pound to Pampered, he is not one of our dogs.
Boof is currently located in the Grafton area.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
