About Bode & Jake - Located in Eltham North
Hey there, feline aficionados! Allow me to introduce myself and my partner in crime, Jake. I'm Bode, the epitome of boldness and beauty, with a personality as big as the sky. And by my side is Jake, the embodiment of all things active and adorable.
Picture this: I strut around with my long legs like I own the place, exuding confidence and friendliness wherever I go. My purr? Well, let's just say it's as big as my heart, which is pretty darn massive. I love nothing more than rubbing around your legs, soaking up chin scratches, and indulging in some good old-fashioned playtime with toys and, of course, my dear brother Jake.
Now, when it comes to cleanliness, Jake and I are on top of our game. We're both litter trained and take pride in keeping ourselves spick and span. And let me tell you, when it's mealtime, you'll see two furry rockets zooming towards you with our tails held high, ready to chow down on some delicious grub.
But here's the scoop: while we're cool with a quiet, cat-friendly dog, we're not too keen on other feline friends, except for each other, of course. And as for tiny humans, we prefer them to be over 12, just to ensure we're all on the same page.
So, if you're on the lookout for a pair of feline companions who are as entertaining as they are charming, look no further. Jake and I are ready to bring double the joy, double the purrs, and double the fun into your life. We're a package deal that you won't want to miss out on! 🐾

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
