Meet Trixie, a sweet-natured, and intelligent dog who is always up for a cuddle. If you love to spend your time outdoors exploring trails, playing fetch, or just going for a brisk walk, then Trixie is the perfect companion for you.

Whilst she is full of energy, Trixie is not generally neurotic like some kelpies and knows when to switch off. She is very adaptable and happy to go with the flow; whether you're waking up at the crack of dawn or having a sleep in, Trix will comply with her people's wishes.

Full of zest and curiosity, Trixie is sharp and adaptable. When it's time to work (or play), her high prey drive and hyper-focus make her an amazing companion for outdoor activities like hiking, a game of fetch or obedience. She is VERY people focused and works well with her handler under distraction. Her potential is limitless. She loves the challenge of obedience classes and would be a great candidate for other dog sports like agility, rally-o or nose work.

After a day of play, Trixie shows her appreciation through cuddles and enjoys a good night's sleep in her cozy crate. Although Trixie hasn't been tested with children, her winsome personality and willingness to make friends make us optimistic.

Due to her high prey drive, Trixie would do best in a home without any pocket pets, small dogs, cats, or chooks. She is good with larger dogs though can resource guard in some situations.

Overall, Trixie would thrive in a home where she could expend her energy through exercise and training, learn new things, and offer her boundless love to her new family.
