About Luna Lou - 1 Year Old Staffy X
Luna Lou is a bright eyed miss who loves hanging out with her humans. Little nose boops to stamp you with her love will be what you can look forward to with this little lady.
She is toilet trained to grass areas outside. Is learning to walk by your side on leash and loves a good game of fetch. Absolutely adores a run along the beach, also loves and stretching her legs alongside anyone who challenges her to a race. She really loves tug-o-war, basketballs, soccorballs and learning new things. We think she is mixed with a working breed like kelpie or koolie as she is always down for an adventure. With adequate exercise she is an absolute dream.
She sleeps inside and knows where her bed is, though she loves a good snuggle when the weather is a bit cooler. As Luna Lou is an inside dog who is used to, and enjoys company. She will need a home where she has indoor and outdoor access, someone who is home most of the time. Who will take her out and about with them, and exercise her body and mind daily.
She would do great as an only dog, but also as an addition to a household with a non anxious well balanced dog who she can learn from and play with. She has grown up with a 4 year old companion and often gets day dates with a 9 year old LabX. She would be fine with kids over 12 years old who understand dog body language.
We have noticed she is quite sound sensitive around fireworks, motorbikes, buses, street sweepers and trucks. Being patient, kind and slow with her when she is faced with these noises will give her the confidence to move past them.
With consistency she is easy to train as she has an active mind and will benefit from having mental and physical stimulation.
She already knows her name well, in addition to nicknames such as: Luli, Luski, Lune and Lu. On top of bonus commands like sit, stay, down, come, bed, spot(which takes her around your leg and sits between your legs) wait and find it.
Luna Lou is great with other dogs but she is not suited to a home with pocket pets, birds and is untested with cats.
