About Storm
Meet Storm, (aka Elle Macpherson) This blonde tall glamour girl has the sweetest nature. She's at that perfect age where she's outgrown the puppy stage but still has plenty of years ahead full of fun and adventure.
Storm is a social butterfly and is particularly well-tuned to people and children and does not jump up on you. She is comfortable around other dogs too, playing well with both male and female companions. This tall and playful girl does need some space to romp, however, she has excellent manners and does not jump fences.
Having adapted well to life in a home environment she is very well behaved inside and quietly lays on her bed but loves cuddles on the lounge with her foster mum and dad. Storm is also toilet trained and does not rip up her bedding and is not destructive of her toys either. Storm is very settled outdoors and can be kennelled if needed. She doesn't bark or make annoying noises and is not anxious if her foster carer needs to leave home.
Storm likes to explore, go on sniff walks and runs in the paddocks – she loves to go for a ride in the car and walks well on the leash too. She has a keen instinct to chase birds, which means no cats or farm animals can join in her playtime, but rest assured, she respects the boundaries of a well-fenced yard.
Storm craves the company of human companions and a house filled with love, toys, and happiness would be her dream come true. If you can picture yourself taking leisurely strolls or fun-filled car rides with this adorable, dog social girl, you might just be the perfect match for Storm.
To all our families from Queensland and Victoria, we would be more than thrilled to consider you for Storm's new family, but you would need to be able to drive to meet her. We promise you, she's worth the journey! So get ready to invite some Storm-sized joy into your life!
Medical notes
Is due for her final C5 vaccination 14/06/2024.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
