About Horse
Hey there, hoomans of the interwebs! I'm none other than the legendary Horse, the coolest cat this side of the litter box! Picture this: I'm a dashing 2-year-old feline with a coat as striking as a zebra crossing - white and black, baby! Oh yeah, I've got the looks.
But let's talk personality. I'm not your average cat. Nah, I'm the kind of dude who struts into a room and demands attention like I'm some sort of feline celebrity. Kid friendly? You betcha! Cat friendly? Absolutely! I'm like the United Nations of cats, bringing peace and cuddles wherever I go.
Speaking of cuddles, that's my jam. There's nothing I love more than snuggling up with my hoomans and purring away like a little motorboat. And don't let my size fool ya - sure, I'm a big boy, but it's all love, baby. All I want is to shower you with affection and maybe steal a treat or two while I'm at it.
So, if you're in the market for a furry friend who's equal parts cool and cuddly, look no further than yours truly, Horse. Let's make some memories together - and maybe a few hairballs too, but let's not dwell on that. Peace, love, and catnip, y'all!
To book a meet and greet with Horse please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
