About Harvey Dent
Once known as the infamous Harvey Dent, this canine crusader has undergone a remarkable transformation from super villain to super good boy. Meet Harvey, a striking Staffy cross with a coat as dark as the night and patches of white that hint at his dual nature.
Having left his villainous ways behind, Harvey is now on a quest to find his forever home, where he can continue his journey towards becoming the ultimate good boy. He's learning the art of interaction with other dogs and is making great strides. A calm and patient dog companion would be the perfect ally to help Harvey achieve his goal of frolicking with his furry peers.
Harvey is not just any ordinary dog; he's super awesome! His high trainability makes him a joy to work with, and he thrives on mental stimulation and challenges. Daily exercise is a must for this energetic pooch, as he loves to stretch his legs and explore the world around him.
Toys are Harvey's passion, and he proudly carries them around as tokens of friendship to share with anyone willing to play. While he adores his toys, he's also fond of children aged 6 years and older, making him a great companion for families seeking a loyal and loving pet.
With his past behind him and a bright future ahead, Harvey Dent is ready to embark on his next adventure - and he hopes it's with you!
To book a meet and greet with Harvey Dent please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
