Say hello to charming Milo, a 3 1/2 years old Maltese Shitzu boy who's waiting with a wagging tail to become part of your home . With a petite build of around 6 kg, he is a very shy timid bit looking for the right home. He does better by himself, so no other pets or kids.
Milo's already taken care of the paperwork—he's desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, and all set to live his best life with his new pack. He's a little guy with a big heart that’s been hurt before so he needs to know you are in it for the long time, you will need to outline this in your application, it’s very important that we know that you understand this . His playful antics come out once he is comfortable, this takes time.
While we are unsure about Milo's tendency to get along with our feline friends, he prefers to be the solo man of the dog house. A
fenced yard would be ideal for Milo, for when he wants to stretch his paws and bask in the sunshine. He enjoys romping around and exploring small corners of the backyard with a curious nose.
This wonderful little fluff-ball calls Birkdale home at the moment, but he's packed up and ready for a hop and skip to wherever the right person comes along . He asks that you be kind, and patient and ready to give him to space he needs.
Just remember, his adoption fee is $895—a worthy investment for a lifetime of love, companionship, joy, and tail-wagging fun that Milo promises to bring. So, are you ready to welcome Milo into your family? He can't wait to meet you!

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
