About Bonnie
Meet Bonnie, the spirited Golden retriever cross on a quest to find her Clyde in this big, beautiful world. At just 1 year and 9 months old, Bonnie is a bundle of boundless energy and affection. With her wagging tail and infectious enthusiasm, she effortlessly wins hearts wherever she goes.
Bonnie is the epitome of a social butterfly, adoring every person she meets and showering them with love and cuddles. She thrives on human companionship and would make the perfect furry friend for families with children aged 8 and older. Her gentle nature and playful spirit make her a joy to be around, especially for kids who are looking for a furry playmate.
Although Bonnie is still in need of some training, she's incredibly smart and eager to learn. With a little patience and guidance, she's sure to become a well-mannered and obedient companion. Her willingness to please and quick grasp of commands make her a delight to train, turning each session into a fun and rewarding experience.
But Bonnie's heart doesn't just belong to people; she's a social butterfly among her furry friends too. She loves nothing more than romping around with other dogs, and would be overjoyed to have a canine companion to share her adventures with. Whether it's chasing balls at the park or enjoying lazy days in the sun, Bonnie is happiest when surrounded by those she loves.
So, if you're searching for a loyal and loving companion to brighten up your days, look no further than Bonnie. With her infectious charm and boundless affection, she's ready to steal your heart and become your faithful partner in all of life's adventures.
To book a meet and greet with Bonnie please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
