About Bobsled
Bobsled is a bundle of fun and sweetness. He loves people and is very friendly with everyone he meets. He is the size of a Corgi with a long body and short little legs but has the beautiful face of a Labrador.
His temperament is very devoted, fun loving and sometimes a bit cheeky! He has the most beautiful big brown puppy dog eyes that just seem to stare into your soul. His joy is totally infectious and he wins over everyone he meets, with his wiggly waggly waddle and goofy smile.
He loves playing with other dogs, going for adventures, eating snacks but mostly he loves hanging with his people, he's a velcro dog and really requires a family around more often than not. His new family will need to be able to keep building up his confidence around being left alone as it's not his favourite activity but he is making progress and we imagine will continue to make progress with the right routine and family.
MY IDEAL HOME: My ideal home is a place where my family is home more often than not. I love company and don’t like being left for long periods of time otherwise I get anxious. I love running around so am not suited to apartment living and would love a big backyard . The more time you spend with me the better!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I have medium energy and need at least one walk a day to keep me healthy and happy. I love chasing balls in the backyard and love meeting new dogs at the dog park. Being 1 years old I tend to have a burst of energy then want to have a little snooze. If I don’t get in my daily walk I might get a bit cheeky and try and find my own fun at home which may include stealing your socks!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I love children! I am very friendly and respectful and love being in their company. Sometimes I can jump up if I'm excited so might need some training around toddlers but am usually calm and gentle with all kids.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love other dogs! In fact I would make an amazing companion to another dog if that’s what you’re looking for. I get along with all dogs at the dog park and always want to say hi to every dog I see on my walks. I have met a cat once and I was very cautious and respectful so I might be okay to live with cats provided my new family can manage a slow introduction.

For Dogs: https://form.jotform.co/80677377750872
Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
