About Salvadore
Salvadore is a sweetheart who is affectionate, playful and a quick learner.
He has started basic command training, and has the gist of sit, drop, shake and leave it. Salvadore travels very well in the car and is gentle with treats. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night without a peep.
Salvadore has started lead training, is food motivated and eager to please. He socialises well with dogs of both sexes and all ages. Salvadore loves run and chase games with his friends and has also shown interest in fetch. As he is still a puppy, Salvadore can jump up at times but is responding to boundaries in this area. When very excited, sometimes he forgets his manners. Salvadore has started long leash recall training and is responding very well to commands.
Salvadore is confident when meeting new people. He is the type of dog to look you right in the eye when you engage him. He is fine sharing toys, sleeping areas and meals. Salvadore tends to be OK around his foster cat sibling but would need supervision until he works who rules the roost. He has been tested around horses but not chickens.
Salvadore would make a lovely offsider for someone in a rural area or non-built up surburbia. He would thrive as a sibling to another confident friendly dog, but also would also be ok solo if his owner was home more often than not. Due to his young age, he would be suitable in a family with older kids, or an active family willing to include him in adventures. Salvadore is a pup that requires boundaries as he matures. His new owners will need to be committed to ongoing training and providing enrichment activities in order to keep him stimulated.
Salvadore is located in NSW.
