About Lucy - Located in Preston
Hey there, humans! Lucy here, and let me tell you, if you're looking for a fiesty, sassy little lady, you've found her! Yep, that's right, I've got attitude for days and enough energy to power a small city.
Now, let's talk about my favorite things in life, shall we? First up, toys. Oh boy, give me a toy and watch me go! I'll pounce, I'll bat, I'll conquer – you name it, I'll do it! And don't even get me started on zooming around rooms. I do it like I've got a purpose, even if that purpose is just to have a blast!
Oh, and cat trees? They're like my own personal jungle gym. I'll climb to the top and survey my kingdom like the little queen that I am. And chasing imaginary bugs? Well, let's just say I've got quite the imagination. Sometimes they're real bugs, sometimes they're not – but either way, I'm on the hunt!
Now, about finding my forever home... I think I'd do best with one of my siblings or maybe even a friendly resident cat who can keep up with my frenetic energy. Yep, I'm a firecracker, but hey, life's too short to be anything less than full throttle, am I right?
So, if you're ready for a little spice in your life, look no further! I'm Lucy, and I'm here to bring some sweetness and sass to your world. Let's make some memories together, shall we?

Medical notes
WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
