About Cally - Located in Richmond
Hey there, folks! The name's Cally, and let me tell you, I'm ready to take on the world – are you up for the challenge?
I may be small, but don't let that fool you – I've got enough feistiness to rival even the fiercest lioness. Playing and getting into mischief? Oh, you betcha, that's my specialty. Whether it's stirring up trouble with my siblings or embarking on solo escapades, I'm always on the lookout for the next big adventure.
Now, let's talk toys. Ribbons, balls, mice – you name it, I'll play with it. But you know what really gets my motor running? Anything shiny. There's just something about the glimmer and sparkle that sets my little kitty heart aflutter.
But hey, even a sassy girl like me needs to recharge her batteries every now and then. That's where sunny spots come in – perfect for soaking up some rays and getting my energy back up to full throttle. And sure, if there's a cozy lap on offer, I might just muster up the courage to grace you with my presence. Maybe.
So, what do you say, huh? Ready to join forces with a pint-sized powerhouse like me? Together, we'll conquer the world, one shiny toy at a time. But fair warning – it's gonna be one wild ride. Think you can handle it?

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
