About Iris - Located in Templestowe
Hello there, wonderful human! My name is Iris, and let me tell you, I'm a little purr machine just waiting to find my forever home.
Life started off a tad shaky for me, I'll admit. Being born with a congenital eye issue wasn't the easiest start, but hey, I'm proof that adversity only makes you stronger, right? My journey led me to develop a cozy relationship with eye drops – not exactly my idea of fun, but they've taught me resilience and patience.
Now, let's talk about the good stuff – the stuff that makes my heart flutter and my whiskers twitch with joy. First off, smooches. Oh, how I adore them! There's nothing quite like the feeling of gentle chin and ear smooches to make me feel like the luckiest kitty in the world. Soft, fuzzy blankets are another weakness of mine. Curling up in a fluffy nest, basking in the warmth, it's pure bliss. Make sure you have your ear plugs ready, I like to purr loudly when I am happy!
And let's not forget about my love for high-up spots. There's something magical about being perched atop a cozy ledge, watching the world go by below. It's where I feel most at peace, most in tune with the universe.
Sure, I may be missing one eye, but trust me when I say it doesn't hold me back one bit. In fact, I like to think it gives me a unique perspective on life – quite literally! I've adapted like a champ, embracing my one-eyed status with grace and a whole lot of spunk.
So, dear human, if you're looking for a furry companion who's equal parts sweet and resilient, look no further. I'm here, ready to lavish you with all the love and cuddles my little heart can muster. All I ask in return is some warm feet to snuggle on and a forever home to call my own. What do you say? Ready to make me the happiest kitty in the world?

Medical notes
Iris has recently had her eye surgically removed due to a congenital birth defect that was causing her issues. These issues were only affecting the one eye. She is no longer on any medications and is comfortable and happy. Her vision in her remaining eye is excellent as is her balance.
