ABOUT LOUIE:

Louie may be small, but he manages to pack in a lot of personality.
He is a total sweetheart whose only goal in life is to spend as much time as possible curled up on people’s laps. If you’re looking for an adoring companion, whether it’s snuggling on the couch or taking a stroll, Louie may be the one for you! As well as being very affectionate, Louie is lively and clever. He is always exploring and investigating, on the lookout for new adventures, with a mischievous gleam in his eye.

Louie needs a home with secure fencing at least a metre high. He can and will slip through very narrow gaps and (relative to his small size) can jump surprising heights. He is toilet trained and generally well-mannered but hasn’t been taught basic commands like sit or stay. However, with consistency and patience I am confident he could pick these up in no time. Louie would be happy to have a canine companion, though he does need to be introduced to larger dogs gently, as they can make him a little nervous. He would prefer a home where he isn’t left alone too much – spending time with you is his favourite thing! Above all, Louie needs a loving home where he can enjoy consistent human companionship, binging Netflix on the couch or exploring the world by your side. Dislikes thunderstorms and loud noises.
Requires high/secure fencing as can jump and slip through cracks.
Can be anxious, licks the air when anxious and may bark for a while when you leave.
