About Swift - Located in Preston
Hey there, fellow feline aficionados! Swift here, the epitome of grace, speed, and all-around fabulousness. Picture this: a sleek black panther in the making, ready to conquer the world one bounding leap at a time. Yep, that's me!
When I'm not showing off my impressive climbing skills on the cat tree (seriously, you've gotta see it to believe it), you'll find me leading the charge for dinnertime. First in line? You betcha! I like to think of myself as the Usain Bolt of the feline world—quick, determined, and always hungry for more.
But it's not all about speed with me. Oh no, I've got a playful side too! Give me a mouse toy or a ping pong ball, and I'll show you some serious moves. Wrestling with my sister Taylor is the highlight of my day—we're like a dynamic duo, unstoppable and always up for some fun.
Speaking of Taylor, she's my partner in crime, my wingman, my... well, you get the idea. We're a package deal, through and through. But hey, I wouldn't mind basking in the spotlight solo every now and then. After all, a star like me deserves her moment in the sun, right?
So, if you're looking for a playful, charismatic companion who's always ready to steal the show, look no further. I'll be here, channeling my inner Taylor Swift and living my best life. Because in the words of my namesake, "We never go out of style."

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
