About Rosie
Rosie Sugar, spice and all things nice! Pint-sized as she may be, Rosie is full of enthusiasm and an unbridled passion for all things life has to offer her. She dives head-first into every adventure, sometimes literally when there’s a paddle pool or a water bowl involved! Rosie has her foster carers constantly laughing with her antics, she takes her role as the zoomie queen very seriously! She’s a sassy young lady with boundless energy, but takes her chill time just as seriously. Her favourite way to relax is resting on the couch watching TV- she particularly likes action movies, which doesn’t come as any surprise! A special thing about Rosie is that she’s deaf, so she’s been hard at work learning various hand signals and habits to ensure a smooth handover for her new parents. The up side to this is that she sleeps soundly and isn’t bothered by thunder or fireworks. The down side is that she can’t hear her own volume on the semi-rare occasions she wants to tell you something. Rosie hasn’t shown any signs of separation anxiety and is crate trained. As she is deaf, certain considerations will need to be taken to ensure she has a long, safe and happy life ahead of her. This will include investing in a variety of good quality leashes and harnesses and continued training. Rosie can be a little over the top with other dogs and cats, as she cannot hear vocalisations from her victims. She would suit living as an only dog or with an older, calm dog.
