About Willow
Not available for interstate adoption apart from the ACT
Must go to a home with at least one young, friendly, playful and well-adjusted dog, no exceptions.
PROFILE AND NEEDS IN A HOME
Introducing the wonderful, vivacious Willow! A typical Jack Russell puppy through and through, Willow has an insatiable love for life and everything that comes with it., but also has a kind heart and softer side to her personality.
She’s an energetic young puppy who loves to play her carers other dogs around the garden, darting around with her favourite toys. Her favourite pastime, though, is cuddling next to you, especially when she's snuggled up against your neck and shoulder at night so Willow must go to a home that understands that this is a must.
Willow has quite the appetite and has never said no to a delicious meal, which is a great help for her new family with regards to her ongoing training.
Willow, being Jack Russell mix, is ideally suited to a dynamic household that appreciates regular outdoor activities. She's seeking a home that will match her energy levels with fun daily walks and new adventures when she's ready for them.
As Willow is only very young, she will need a home where her family are not away for long periods of time, shorter periods of time would be ok.
Willow is great with children so would suit a family with gentle, kind kids over the age of eight years, or a couple/single without kids. Remember puppies need lots of sleep when they are little so rest away from kids is important.
The perfect setup for Willow would be a home with another small, playful, and friendly desexed young dog. She loves her playtime and having a canine companion to share it with makes it even more enjoyable for her.
Like all of our dogs, Willow must have access inside at all times and be permitted to cuddle on the couch and sleep inside, preferably in the bedroom.
Willow is an exceptionally smart puppy and has already learned the 'come' command quickly and sits dutifully for her meals. Her new owner will need to show commitment to continuing Willow's training, using only reward-based, force-free methods.
Willow looks forward to joining an understanding family that will take the time to nurture and develop her considerable intelligence and trainability.
Are you ready to welcome this bundle of joy into your home? Willow is enthusiastic, smart, and loving. She would be an amazing addition to any home able to cater to her active, playful personality.
If you would like to meet Willow please send us some info on yourself and the home you are able to provide including your location, contact number, your dog and any other pets (if any), family members, lifestyle, exercise and mental stimulation you will provide, how often Willow would be alone, where she will have access in the home, where Willow would go if you went away and could not take her with you, ability to cover et expenses and any other information you wish to provide.
