About Harley - 5 Month Old Mastiff X
Harley is the most adorable, happy, loving soul who adores everyone, big and small. He is gentle in nature, considerate and careful of kids and other puppies much smaller than him.
He is an absolute legend; he fills everyone’s hearts with love for him and puts a smile on everyone’s face whilst watching him play. He has a cheeky character; fun personality, and he oozes love and affection towards anyone willing to receive it.
Harley will slip in easily to a family who likes a healthy balance of exercise closely followed by couch potato time. He would love a sibling to share time with, play with, and learn from, but not essential. Besides a love of humans and other doggo’s his favourite things are toys, which he also takes back to his bed and sleeps with.
Harley can use the doggy door, so please be sure you have one appropriate for his fully grown size. He is working on toilet training and improving every day, but please be patient as sometimes he gets distracted and forgets to go outside, so he needs reminding by his new family please. He sleeps in a crate all night long snuggled up to his foster sibling (Kelpie pup).
He has met cats and although he would be very happy to play with them, they do not share the same attitude and with a couple of swipes he leaves them alone.
Harley is a healthy, active puppy and does all the normal things puppies do. He would like his new family to be fully committed to training him properly, who also understands the basic needs of a puppy and will give him lots of time, attention, exercise, and stimulation.
Whilst Harley is a puppy, he would like someone home often to keep a good eye on him and keep him safe.
His new home needs to be completely puppy proofed inside and out with no choke hazards, no small gaps, or unprotected heights he could fall from. Your fences need to be at least 1.8 metres high so the yard is fully secure when he is fully grown.
Harley’s adoption fee is $700.00 which includes desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and are microchipped.
Harley is in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption in the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when 5 to 6 months old.
