About Tank - 11 Month Old Catahoula X Bull Arab
Meet your new man Tank, an 11-month-old Catahoula X Bull Arab.
What a guy! Tank is a sweet natured, affectionate and fun-loving boy, good with other dogs and people of all sizes.
He has been respectful towards my cat and considers them one of his new close friends.
His beautiful brindle coat, athletic frame and handsome face make him a very attractive fellow.
Tank is house trained and is quiet and well behaved indoors. He sleeps indoors with us as a family, and we would like him to continue to do so at his new forever home.
He walks well on the lead and is a quick learner. He has not done anything untoward whilst in my care. He enjoys walks, playing with my dogs and will lap up as much stroking as you can dish out.
He was not keen on noisy machinery when he arrived but has improved considerably. He will bark if someone comes to the house, but he is not a noisy dog. He just lets you know that you have visitors.
He will make a loyal, affectionate, and lively companion for the right person/ family, happy to go for a run, join in a game or lie quietly indoors.
Tank is a large dog (33.5kg last weighing) and requires a long walk daily, space to run around and ideally an energetic doggy companion.
To register your interest in adopting Tank you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au or www.petrescue.com.au
Tank is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW area. They are NOT currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $500.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
