About Kirkenes
Kirkenes (Kiki for short) is a confident, outgoing girl. She has been fostered with her brother Tromso and three medium to large dogs. She has had exposure to two cats in foster care and chickens. She is quite clever and litter trained herself at 7weeks. She is crate trained and is very much a quiet soul.
She loves her green dental sticks and chicken treats and is showing interest in a ball. With a Zorro like blaze down her face and a few beauty spots everyone her meets her comments on your good looks. She travels well in the car to the gym several times a week.
Her mum, a Spaniel x Border Collie and her dad a long hair Chihuahua, we believe Gordon will grow to be a small dog with a medium / long hair coat, please note he would NOT be considered 'hypoallergenic'.
Kiki would benefit from ongoing training and gentle socialisation, building his confidence and encouraging him to be a little bit adventurous will benefit this gorgeous guy!
MY IDEAL HOME: I would like to be part of a family with little humans to play with. I am intelligent and cheeky and easy to train. I would also be happy with a single human who has all the time in the world for me! I have grass at my foster home and run out in the morning to wee and poo. I know where to go and to come back inside. I am happy to go outside to the toilet in the rain.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I play with my brother and the bigger dogs I'm staying with but as a young puppy I get pretty tired after extended play and have sleeps during the day.
I have a great personality and would suit someone who can WFH or take me to the office or walking to drop the kids at school. I'm easy going and outgoing.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: In foster care Kiki has lived with children over 8 years old and is happy to meet other people and dogs.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I get along with my brother who is a total couch potato. I am the leader in our adventures. I live with three big dogs 22-40kg and play with them confidently. I also live with two cats and haven't chased them so we all get along. There are three chickens at my house in a coop and I have met them without issue.

Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
