About Janine
Janine is a confident and fun little pocket rocket! Unlike her sleepy chubby brother, Gordon she loves exploring the house, playing with anything she finds on the floor and telling our resident dog where to go and what to do. If he growls at her, she just barks back louder (cheeky much?).
Her mum, a Spaniel x Border Collie and her dad a long hair Chihuahua, we believe Janine will grow to be a small dog with a medium / long hair coat, please note she would NOT be considered 'hypoallergenic'.
She is incredibly energetic and entertaining, has mastered standing on her hind legs and wave at you for snuggles and attention. Her foster carers quickly realised with Janine size is no indication of toughness, this little unassuming fluff is a fearless warrior ready to take on the world!
MY IDEAL HOME: Janine is a very active and would love another dog friend and people that take her on adventures and prioritise playtime and enrichment. She is a real go getter and doesn't want to get bored. However make sure to plan in some snuggle time, as she loves her ears rubbed and snuggling onto your shoulder.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium to high. There's so much to explore in the world and I want to see it all. My brother is holding me back, so I am hoping for a home that'll take me out a lot and play with me.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Children are fun! They have as much energy as I do and I love it. Their fingers are great to nibble on though, so be careful.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love meeting cats and dogs and try to get them all to play with me.

For Dogs: https://form.jotform.co/80677377750872
Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
