Introducing Sophie, a 5-year-old Dachshund charmer with an endearing personality. With her outgoing and friendly nature, Sophie is a delight to all who know her!
At first encounter, Sophie might seem a little reserved, but don't let that fool you, after getting to know her human companions, she blossoms into her true outgoing and friendly self. She's fantastic with dogs her own size and is friendly toward cats too. Given these attributes, Sophie is likely to thrive in a family setting where she can have canine companionship; she would absolutely adore a dog friend in her new home.
Sophie is still learning her manners— she would benefit from some basic training to help her become the best canine citizen she could be. However, if you're ready to put in a little time and patience, you're sure to be rewarded by an incredible bond with this sweet-natured Dachshund.
Sophie's most charming attribute is her sweet nature, she's always pleased to see you and loves nothing more than being at your side, enjoying your company. This perfect companion is ready to share her love and loyalty with a family that will cherish her.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
