This is Mr Tinky Winky, a gentle giant with a heart of gold who's looking for his forever home!

Mr Tinky Winky was found as a stray, wandering the streets alone. He waited and waited at the shelter for someone to collect him, but sadly, no one came forward.
But we were there for him. And whist he was in our care, our veterinary team discovered his needed leg surgery to repair his left kneecap. Thanks to our amazing foster carers, Mr Tinky Winky was given a home away from the shelter to rest and recover. With their love and support, he healed beautifully and now, this big boy - with an even bigger personality - is ready to find his forever home.

So what makes him so special? Well, while Mr Tinky Winky is a guardian breed, but his true nature is as a couch potato and snuggle bug. Everyone at the shelter has absolutely fallen in love Mr Tinky Winky and we cannot wait for him to find the perfect home.
He would love to go to home with older (12+) and would prefer to be the only dog in the house.
If you love bigger dogs and are looking to adopt, please come to our North Melbourne shelter to meet Mr Tinky Winky. We know you'll fall in love with him too!
