About Cora
Meet Cora,
Sweet, young lady learning what love is...
Are you looking for a feline friend who embodies gentleness and affection? Look no further than Cora! This sweet girl is on the lookout for a loving home where she can thrive.
Cora's personality shines through her gentle nature and friendly disposition. While she may initially be a bit nervous, her curiosity and playful nature quickly emerge once she feels comfortable. She is the perfect blend of shy and outgoing, making her an ideal choice for both first-time cat owners and seasoned enthusiasts alike.
In a home environment, Cora thrives in calm and quiet surroundings. Loud noises can startle her, so a quiet atmosphere is essential for her happiness. She welcomes interactions with children aged 8 years & up (or younger who understand) as Cora prefers a gentle touch.
While Cora's compatibility with dogs is uncertain, she may be open to the idea depending on the individual dog's temperament. Similarly, she is open to befriending other cats who share the same gentle, relaxed and easy-going traits as she does.
Cora's energy levels are moderate, and she delights in soft toys that she can hug and kick to her heart's content. Treat time is always a highlight for Cora, particularly when it involves Greenie treats! Additionally, she takes pride in her cleanliness, faithfully using her litter tray without fail.
Although Cora may feel a bit nervous at first when being picked up she does quickly relax, and she appreciates gentle interactions and enjoys the comfort of having her back patted. As she continues to learn what love and affection mean, Cora is eager to find a forever home where she can thrive and be cherished for the sweet young lady she is.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask if that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
