Meet Rocko !

At only 9 months old Rocko has had a sad start into his journey of life.
Sadly, he was dumped at the pound neglected and wounded which has lead to a distrust in people as a consequence.

Since coming into care Rocko is learning that not all people are bad and has been slowly gaining confidence but will need to be in an enviroment with lots of understanding, patience and dedication to continue showing him that life isn't so scary after all.

We believe that Rocko would be best suited to an only dog home as he has lacked the social skills needed to get along well with others. He has been residing with other dogs that allowed his carer to make this assessment. He would benefit from interaction with other dogs to allow him to be able to develop his social skills.

Rocko has taken no notice of the regular cat so he should be ok with one as long as it's a slow introduction.

Rocko is a very loving little boy who, given time, will show his true personality once he learns to trust you.

While he has come a long way while in care he has only just started to enjoy snuggles with his main carer, this has taken time, so again patience is a must.

Rocko does enjoy a run and loves his toys, especially squeaky ones !

He is fully toilet trained and is learning to sit and stay but is yet to master it so continued
training with this is needed. He will require regular grooming and was very well behaved for the groomer.

Rocko is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated with all flea and worming up to date.
