• Super affectionate, she loves to snuggle and loves pats, massages and tummy rubs
• Has a typical min pin hunting instinct – especially if she sees a cat
• Loves going for long walks
• Very sweet nature
• Fairly good car traveler if she is alone, but when travelling with Hugo he is noisy so she tends to join in
• Fully house trained
• Not familiar with small children
• Always clip lead to a chest harness when walking – she has never been let off leash when out and about (for safety reasons)
• Good with other dogs (can be timid)
• Very energetic and curious
• Uses a doggy door with no issues
• Doesn’t like storms
• Has a Nexguard spectra chew on the first of each month
• Knows the command ‘who wants a snack’ and will come running from anywhere
• Loves to gives hugs by putting her paws on your shoulders
HUGO (nickname Yoogie)
Miniature Pinscher
Tan de-sexed male
Date of birth: 14/04/2017
• Very cheeky and lively
• Obsessed with playing ball
• Can be a bit aloof and anxious – gets separation anxiety when you first go to leave the house and can let out a loud screech. Likes to know where you are at all times
• Has a strong little personality
• Makes a lot of strange little noises and a loud screech on occasion
• He has a voice and likes to use it to tell you what he wants
• Loves going for long walks
• Likes affection but usually on his terms
• Sometimes not keen on being picked up
• Can be noisy when in the car
• Fully house trained
• Not familiar with small children
• Always clip lead to a chest harness when walking – he has never been let off leash when out and about (for safety reasons)
• Likes some dogs, doesn’t like others
• Very energetic and curious
• Likes to scratch his back along the lounge
• Will only use a doggy door if the flap has been removed
• Doesn’t like storms
• Has a Nexguard spectra chew on the first of each month.
• Is a bit snuffley in the mornings usually
• Knows the command ‘who wants a snack’ and will come running from anywhere
• Hugo often likes to snuggle under a blanket during the day (depending on the weather). He will stand on the lounge near it and bark at you to cover him with it.
• Allergy: Propofol
TOGETHER
• They can get jealous when the other one is getting attention – particularly Hugo, typical min pin
• They are better when fed in separate rooms . Hugo is a slow eater – especially at breakfast. Sometimes he eats it a bit later in the morning. They love snacks but Pixie is greedy and will try to eat Hugos food .
• Hugo likes his own space and doesn’t snuggle up to Pixie when sleeping
• They are used to sleeping on a bed (usually under a soft blanket each, depending on the weather). They both sleep through the night.
• They are excellent guard dogs and will let you know if someone comes to the front door
• They travel in a large crate on the back seat. They get overexcited wondering where they are going.
• They are both fully house trained
• FOOD – Their main diet is premium dry food (Hill Science, Eukanuba etc). They have slightly over half a cup twice daily. As a treat they have tinned food occasionally.
• ROUTINE – Breakfast at 6am then a walk. Dinner at 5 or 6pm after an afternoon walk. Bedtime is whenever the humans go to bed.
• They don’t like having their nails trimmed (always done at the vet)
• Not keen on bath time. Pixie will tolerate it but Hugo hates it.
They have been so very loved and spoiled all of their lives. They are being rehomed because it was not possible to keep them, not because they were not loved or not wanted. Please love them lots.
They live chasing each other around the yard or sleeping on the sun-soaked lawn.
These two are inseparable, and it's almost as if they communicate with each other in their unique doggy language.
Pixie and Hugo are both vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and desexed, absolutely ready to bring joy to your life. They would do best in a home with a large backyard, where they can expend their energy and be their playful selves.
They will sleep in the same crate in their own beds and they will snuggle up together in the evenings on your lap watching watching TV . Pixie can jump a 4 foot fence. If she had the chance.
Adopting Pixie and Hugo means bringing a bundle of joy and happiness into your family. They are indeed double the fun, double the love and double the charm. A perfect pair like Pixie and Hugo is hard to find, so don't miss your chance to invite them into your life. They promise to fill your days with laughter and love.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
