About Nala
Introducing Nala! This young lady, around 12 months old, is transitioning from a rural pound life to being a beloved family member with the help of her best mate, Roxy. Living in her foster home on the Central Coast (NSW), Nala has picked up vital life skills such as loose-leash walking and commands like sit, down, and stay. She's very adaptive and eager to learn, embodying the energetic spirit of her namesake from the Lion King.
Nala loves her daily strolls with the pack, her nose filled with new smells she's never experienced before. This curious girl sees every walk as an opportunity to learn good behavior and impress her humans. Once back from her adventure, she loves to curl up into her bed for a good nap. She can also stay home for a few hours by herself, especially after a long fun-filled day.
This social butterfly has been on several doggie dates, walking in big packs with numerous other dogs. She loves this time as she gets to show everyone how obedient and well-behaved she can be. Playing with other dogs at these gatherings is her absolute favorite.
Being a quick learner and a friendly girl, Nala is an excellent choice for those new to dog ownership. However, she also loves the companionship of other dogs and will love a home where she can have a canine mate. While she has no experience with other pets, she remains calm when encountering a cat or wild birds during walks.
Nala is also a champion of affection, loving nothing more than cuddling, receiving head massages, and getting belly rubs from her humans. She reciprocates this love by giving some serious licks in return. If you're not paying enough attention, expect a gentle nip from Nala, inviting you to play. However, it's worth noting that due to this playful nipping, a household without young children may be most suitable for her.
If you're looking for a happy, loving, and smart canine companion, Nala could be your perfect match. She's ready and waiting to share her love and energetic spirit with her new family.
