About Jiji
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This beautiful little lady is very sweet, very gentle, very affectionate, very playful and full of spunk. She loves a pat and a cuddle, loves to play and absolutely adores human company.
Jiji was well loved by her previous owner but they sadly had a change of living situation and could no longer look after her, so they made the tough decision to find her a new home. She has come from a loving household and adores human company.
She can be a bit shy at first in a new environment, like most of us, but once she gets to know you she will be rubbing up against your legs, chilling on the couch with you, curling up in your bed and doing zoomies all around the house.
Play time is a great way to bond and get her to come out of her shell, she goes crazy for it. If you scatter a few ping pong balls around she will chase them around for hours, or will quickly make her own entertainment with anything found lying on the floor. If you have a cat wand or a toy on a string she will forget all her fears and come running towards you to play. Your arm will get tired long before she gets bored.
Jiji is full of personality and her antics will have you laughing for hours. Once she has had a chance to settle her confident and curious side will come out and she will start to make herself right at home. Affection is definitely very much on her terms but she has a very sweet and affectionate personality that comes out when she's in the mood for some attention.
She can be quite an independent little lady. She loves human company and will be keen to keep an eye on you but is also quite content to hang out and do her own thing. Jiji is the kind of cat that prefers a human companion and isn't a big fan of other cats. She can be a bit of a princess so she would be best suited to a household where she is the only cat, so she can have her persons attention all to herself.
Jiji would be best suited to a young single or couple who are looking for a loving companion who's entertaining and full of personality. If this sounds like you then please let us know.
Jiji is approximately 12 months old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little lady with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
