About Rembrandt
Rembrandt is a delightful little cherub, sweet natured and full of fun. He is very social and loves meeting new people and learning new things.
This kid is well on his way to being toilet and crate trained and has picked up walking on his lead and sitting on command very quickly, he's a sponge ready to soak up all of life's lessons! He is a ridiculously sweet boy and a delight to play and cuddle with.
His mum a Rottweiler x Kelpie and his dad a Pug x Boston, Remmy is a real mix or what we like to refer to as a 'rescue special' ... whilst we can't be sure how big he'll grow, we suspect he'll end up on the smaller side of medium.
He'll bring a lot of joy to whoever is lucky enough to have him join their family.
MY IDEAL HOME: Remmy would love a family who are able to continue his training and have lots of time to play. As he's still little, he doesn't like being alone for too long, so someone who works from home and is able to give him lots of attention would be ideal. Like any baby, he also enjoys some down time to recharge, so would also need a quiet place to nap when play time is over.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Remmy has lots of energy for playing and exploring and we can only guess, with his kelpie blood, this might increase with age. At the moment he likes to have some high energy play with his teddy bear and activity mat and then to take nap to recharge so he can do it all again.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: As he's still a baby himself, Remmy hasn't met many children but he is gentle and sweet with those he has. He is still in his puppy chewing phase though so would need to be closely supervised around little fingers and toes.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Remmy is very calm around other animals and is friendly to those who wish to be friends and indifferent to those who don't. He is currently living with a cat without issue.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
