About Louie
Meet Louie, a friendly feline who genuinely enjoys human companionship. This charming fella is well known for his sociable and affectionate nature. Louie doesn't just cohabitate with humans -- he considers them his closest friends!
Louie is not just a pet, he's a companion who thoroughly enjoys being cherished and spoiled. He will happily nuzzle against you, and it's hard to resist rewarding his endearing behavior with the gentle strokes and scratches he cherishes.
One of the most unique things about Louie is his ability to communicate. He's an expressive cat and isn't afraid to let you know what he wants. Whether it's a tickle behind the ears or his favourite dinner, Louie will communicate his needs clearly, making looking after him a breeze.
If you're in search of a cat who is friendly, adorable, and loves to communicate, then Louie might be your perfect match! His sweet nature and love for close companionship make him a wonderful addition to any home. Louie is patiently awaiting his new family to shower them with all the love he has to offer.
Medical notes
Louie is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus)
It is important to realize that while it is impossible to predict the survival of a given cat infected with FIV, they can live very normal, healthy lives for many years if managed appropriately.
Casual, non-aggressive contact does not appear to be an efficient route of spreading the virus. As a result, cats in households with stable social structures where housemates do not fight are at little risk of acquiring FIV infections.
How else can I help protect an FIV-positive cat?
Nutrition is important for all cats, FIV positive or not, along with limiting as best as you can their exposure to potential pathogens. These measures are important and can extend an already long life. It is especially necessary for FIV positive cats to be kept indoors, where their immune system will be less exposed. An examination at the vet twice a year is very important.
