About Toby
Introducing Toby (previously known as #300)
After a few weeks in care with lots of love, good food, and attention have and the scared, skinny little pup in the pound is transformed.
He is still a little she and could do with a tiny bit more filling out, but he is ready to find his family – and we are just so excited for him.
Toby is about 18 weeks old now and is a leggy little fellow so we suspect he is a medium-sized mixed breed ( maybe a Bull Arab mix)
He has an absolutely beautiful personality – a little shy at first but you will soon see the little twinkle in his eye.
A sociable and friendly pup he is happy around other dogs, kids, and even horses – he hasn’t been cat tested though sorry.
He is finding real joy in life and thoroughly enjoys bounding around with furry and non-furry friends and is just the best company.
He is showing a really good recall, making adventures out and about to parks or open spaces easy.
If your adventures involve trips in the car, fear not; Toby is a great passenger who handles car travel exceptionally well, so you're free to take him wherever you may roam.
Toby is incredibly affectionate and adores snuggles, cuddles and nuzzles.
He has developed a healthy appetite and holds a special fondness for mealtimes.
While his excitement is palpable around food, he is learning quickly to maintain his manners, even when the treats come out.
On or off-lead, Toby is an ambitious explorer, albeit sometimes an initially nervous one.
But give him a little time to settle into new surroundings, and he becomes the life of the party.
He loves to learn and to please and with a loving and patient owner continuing his training he is going to be just the best boy.
If you are looking for a sweet and loving, fun-loving boy who is eager to learn and shower you with boundless affection, toy-fetching prowess, face-licking, and the best most loyal companion you could ask for. – here he is.
Toby is about 18 weeks old and is vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date with his flea and worm treatments.
His adoption fee of $625 includes desexing at our partner vets when he is 6 months old.
Toby is in foster care at Cooroibah on the Sunshine Coast.
If you are keen to meet Toby, please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and the wonderful life he could share with you.

Adoption details
At The Mini Rescue, we strive to make the adoption process as seamless as possible. We understand that bringing a new pet into your home is a big decision that will enrich your life in countless ways. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
