About Skye
Meet Skye: The Enchanting Torbie
Hey there, feline aficionados! My name is Skye, and I'm not your ordinary cat - I'm a super stunning Torbie with mesmerizing green eyes that'll capture your heart in an instant.
Let me tell you a bit about myself: I thrive in a home where I can be the center of attention, so it's just you and me, babe - no other furry creatures, please. Cats? Not my cup of milk, if you catch my drift.
Now, when it comes to family dynamics, I prefer the company of older kids who understand my need for space and respect my majestic aura. Playful? Oh, you bet! Despite my sophisticated appearance, I've got a playful side that'll keep you entertained for hours. Whether it's chasing feather toys or lounging in a sunbeam, I'm down for some fun.
But here's the deal-breaker: I crave the great outdoors. A safe, enclosed area where I can frolic to my heart's content is an absolute must. Picture it - me, gracefully prancing through the grass, soaking up the sunshine while you admire my beauty from afar. Sounds purr-fect, doesn't it?
So, if you're searching for a lovely lady who's equal parts elegant and playful, look no further. Swipe right on Skye, and let's make magic together. 🌟
To book a meet and greet with Skye please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
