About Sabrina
Meet Sabrina, the bewitching feline who's been casting her spell since 2015! This stunning senior cat is about to celebrate her 9th birthday on 11/04, and what better gift could she receive than a loving forever home?
Sabrina is no ordinary cat - she's a sleek, ebony beauty with eyes that seem to hold ancient secrets. While she may not have a wand, her purrs have a magical way of enchanting those around her. Unlike some of her feline counterparts, Sabrina isn't keen on sharing the spotlight with other cats. She's the leading lady and prefers to be the sole fur baby in her domain.
This enchantress adores spending her days curled up next to her humans, soaking up all the love and attention they have to offer. However, she's also a wise old soul who appreciates her moments of solitude, especially when she's basking in a sunbeam or enjoying a catnap in her favorite cozy spot.
When it comes to her ideal family, Sabrina is looking for older kids who understand the art of respecting a cat's space. She's not one for rough play or constant cuddles; instead, she thrives in an environment where she's given the freedom to be herself, whether that's lounging on a windowsill or chasing shadows across the floor.
As Sabrina approaches her milestone birthday, she's hoping to find a forever home where she can continue to weave her magic and spread joy wherever she goes. If you're ready to welcome this bewitching beauty into your life, don't delay - Sabrina's waiting to cast her spell on you!
To book a meet and greet with Sabrina please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
