Meet Angus and Peaches, a delightful bonded pair looking for a loving forever home together! 🐾🐾 Peaches and Angus have lived in a confined area all their lives with Angus as a breeding dog. Until they came to us they had never met another dog or been inside a house. They have been a delight to watch as they take in all the experiences in their new world.
Peaches is a very friendly and extroverted girl who loves everyone she meets. While she's not fully house trained yet, she's making great progress and only has the very occasional accident indoors. Peaches enjoys the freedom of doors being open and gets along well with other dogs, although she's not very interested in toys. She walks well on a leash but could benefit from some training, as it's still a new experience for her. She does love to have a good sniff on her walks. Peaches is a bit timid around other dogs but is not aggressive. She's not particularly fond of cats or other animals and hasn't been around children, so her behavior in those situations is unknown. Peaches is a gentle and affectionate girl who would thrive with daily walks to help shed a few pounds.
Angus is a friendly and affectionate boy who is deeply bonded to Peaches. He's also quite attached to his partner dog and would likely not cope well as an only dog. Angus is a bit timid at first but warms up quickly. Angus gets along well with other dogs and is friendly and curious with them. He's not interested in toys and now walks attentively by your side on leash. Angus hasn't been tested with cats or children, but he has been calm around a cat in a cage at the vet. He's obedient and will sit on command. Angus is not a fan of the vet or groomer and can get anxious in those situations. He's a well-mannered and good-looking boy who would benefit from daily walks and lots of love and attention.
Angus and Peaches, a bonded pair of lovely dogs who are only now realising what a great world it can be for them, are searching for the right person(s) to guide them with love, patience, time, and training to help them live their best lives. In return, you will receive an abundance of love, warmth, entertainment and companionship. There truly is nothing better than a happy dog! If you're ready to open your heart and home to this charming pair, Angus and Peaches are waiting to meet you!

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

We look forward to receiving your application.
