About Sapphire
This sweet girl is Sapphire, and she was dumped with her litter-mates on the side of a road and picked up by a kind passer-by. Sapphire was full of fleas and worms, but is doing really well now she's in care and the fleas and worms have gone and her tummy is full of yummy food. Sapphire will be a little timid as she settles into her foster home but is receiving lots of love and fuss and is showing herself to be a real darling. We think Sapphire deserves a fantastic new home with caring owners who will include her in their lives.
Lovely Sapphire is mixed breed, probably some Kelpie and also a smidge of Labrador. She should be medium sized when fully grown: we don't believe she'll be a large dog. She will likely be an active dog who will need daily exercise and play sessions to keep her happy and healthy. This adorable girl will love having lots and lots of time spent with her new family to make up for her rather sad past, so a home where someone is home a lot will be the best possible outcome for her.
We always recommend formal training for new pups so that they can learn good manners, how to get along (socialise) with other dogs and new people, and have fun with their owner while they learn, in a positive and fun setting.
Sapphire gets along well with her foster carer's dogs. She hasn't met cats or other animals but should be pretty trainable. Should be fine with children as has a gentle nature.
If you can offer sweet Sapphire a loving, kind and active home, please complete our SAFE Bunbury application form as follows:
