About Panda - Located in Melton South
Panda is an absolutely delightful young girl. She is a perfect tuxedo cat. Her shiny soft coat is as black as can be with a white front and the most adorable white socks. Her golden eyes are mesmerizing and simply gorgeous.
Precious Panda feels safe now and trusts her foster carer who she showers with affection. When this stunning young cat first arrived with her Mum and siblings, she was a bit reserved but that is behind her now and she actually adores being around humans. She happily kneads away on her foster carer’s lap, making biscuits as she purrs the sweetest melody to show just how much she appreciates all the loving kindness.
Now, let's talk about playtime! Whether it's chasing balls, toy mice, leaping about trying to catch her wand toys or romping around with her feline friends, Panda will keep you, her new best friend, entertained for hours. She’s a lot of fun.
Panda is a cuddle bug. She loves to sit next to her humans then snuggle. She adores being patted and stroked as she happily lies next to her humans soaking up all the love and warmth they have to offer. So, if you're looking for a sweet girl who's blossomed into a confident and affectionate young companion, then look no further. Please make time to meet Panda and be her new best friend. She would love to meet you.

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
